The Forward Deployed Engineering Opportunity

We are building the founding Forward Deployed Engineering team, seeking the industry's top technology sales talent. FDEs at Aurasell are highly collaborative, cross-functional partners who utilize their sales and technology expertise across the organization. The core mission is to win deals, ensure customer enablement, and provide critical feedback and direction to the product team.

You will work directly with our founders and collaborate closely with top Account Executives, including alumni from industry-leading companies like Harness, Verkada, and Wiz.

We are hiring FDEs at various experience levels. We welcome those with existing FDE titles, as well as individuals with diverse GTM backgrounds, including Solutions Architects, Sales/Solutions Engineers, Customer Success Managers, and more.

What You Will Do

As the CTO for your Account Executive's book of business, you will be deeply involved in the deal lifecycle:

- Strategic Partnership: Partner closely with AEs to:

  • Develop and deliver compelling demonstrations.
  • Analyze and understand a prospect’s or customer’s legacy GTM technology.
  • Identify, organize, and articulate integration, migration, and product requirements.
  • Build tailored custom solutions using Aurasell’s workflow platform.

- Product & Strategy Leader:

  • Master the Aurasell product, including both the user interfaces and the powerful AI-native workflow engine.
  • Deeply understand customer goals, synthesize them into clear objectives, and communicate back to the product team to influence design and prioritization.
  • Keep a pulse on the broader AI and GTM industries, imagining and communicating new innovations. This includes building proof-of-concepts to educate the company on platform enhancements.
  • Be agile in communication—expect to discuss product architecture with a CTO, data security with a CIO, and GTM strategy with a CRO, potentially all in the same day.

- Implementation & Support: Provide technical guidance and support throughout the implementation process, covering troubleshooting, optimization, and adoption.

- Internal Enablement: Collaborate with account teams, product managers, and engineers to align platform capabilities with customer needs. Build internal GTM flywheels based on your experience, such as customer utilization analytics, internal tools, demo enablement, and broad company communications, to eliminate internal process toil.

As a Founding Member, you will help define, build, and own:

  • Technical components of a successful deal, from proof-of-value (POV) evaluations and mutual action plans to kickstart onboarding, rapidly enabling customers to become GTM Operators.
  • Demonstrations and enablement for our rapidly growing feature set.
  • Internal analytics to proactively identify emerging customer needs and issues.
  • Technological initiatives that accelerate product growth and adoption.

What You Will Bring

  • 2+ years of professional experience in a technical sales or consultant role (e.g., FDE, SE, CSM).
  • A self-starter mentality with a proven history of hitting or exceeding goals.
  • An enthusiasm for building and applying skills related to AI.
  • A focus on solving real business problems, avoiding unnecessary technical detail.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Adaptability to work in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
  • Ability and interest to travel up to 25% (with flexibility) for customer visits and field marketing events.

Ideal Bonus Experience

While not mandatory, we value candidates who highlight experience with:

  • Prior experience in AI-native B2B technology companies.
  • Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Go).
  • Relevant Platforms:
    • Big data technology (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Elasticsearch).
    • Product analytics and monitoring (e.g., PostHog, Datadog).
    • AI-native coding platforms (e.g., Cursor, Windsurf).
    • GenAI technologies (e.g., RAG, LangChain).
    • API testing (e.g., Postman).
    • Workflow and integration platforms (e.g., Zapier, n8n).
    • Legacy CRMs, ERPs, and ITSMs
